In Ordinary Time the Lord forms disciples steadily. Around the Memorial of St Mary Magdalene, “Called by Name” focuses on personal encounter and vocational growth. We pray with John 20, where the Risen Jesus speaks Mary’s name and sends her to announce the Good News. Teaching covers practical discernment: recognising the Lord’s voice, distinguishing consolation from distraction, and taking courageous small steps in your vocation—single, married, consecrated, or ordained. Small groups offer peer support; ministry teams pray into obstacles that keep you from saying “yes”. Expect uplifting worship, a quiet holy hour, and resources to help you create a simple discernment plan for the next quarter.
