About the event
Mid‑Lent can feel like a desert—dry, demanding, and yet full of hidden springs. “Mercy in the Desert” helps us persevere with joy. We’ll pray with the Samaritan Woman (John 4) and the man born blind (John 9), discovering how Jesus meets us with mercy and opens new vision. Teaching covers practical perseverance: managing distractions in prayer, fasting with wisdom, and turning setbacks into intercession. With the Annunciation approaching, we look to Mary’s fiat as the perfect Lenten “yes” and consecrate ourselves anew to Jesus through Mary. Adoration includes Scripture meditations and quiet personal prayer; priests are available for confession; ministry leads intercession for families and the suffering. If your Lent needs a lift, come and drink from the living water—His mercy in the desert becomes a stream of hope.
